Filho de um imigrante grego e de uma mineira de Muria\u00e9, onde nasceu, foi seminarista, formou-se em Filosofia pela PUC Minas Gerais e tem p\u00f3s-gradua\u00e7\u00e3o em Gest\u00e3o P\u00fablica. Foi eleito prefeito de Muria\u00e9 em 2016, sendo o mais bem votado da hist\u00f3ria da cidade.<\/p>\n<p>Ficou conhecido no Estado como Grego da Funda\u00e7\u00e3o pelo trabalho volunt\u00e1rio do Hospital do C\u00e2ncer de Muria\u00e9, no setor de humaniza\u00e7\u00e3o da Funda\u00e7\u00e3o Cristiano Varella, que atende mais de 3 milh\u00f5es de pessoas em 200 munic\u00edpios mineiros. Foi eleito deputado estadual com 38.936 votos e assumiu, em 2023, seu primeiro mandato na Assembleia Legislativa de Minas Gerais.
