Fundada em 1968, a miss\u00e3o da LCIF \u00e9 &#8220;capacitar os Lions clubes, volunt\u00e1rios e parceiros para melhorar a sa\u00fade e o bem -estar, fortalecer as comunidades e apoiar os necessitados atrav\u00e9s de servi\u00e7os humanit\u00e1rios e subs\u00eddios que impactam vidas em todo o mundo e incentivam a paz e cuidado com o meio ambiente&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p>Nos 55 anos de sua exist\u00eancia, a Funda\u00e7\u00e3o Lions vem incentivando os le\u00f5es para aumentar a capacidade dos atendimentos humanit\u00e1rios em todos os lugares do mundo, atrav\u00e9s dos associados dos Lions clubes que est\u00e3o espalhados em aproximadamente 212 pa\u00edses, distribu\u00eddos em mais de 48 mil clubes em todo nosso planeta. LCIF proporcionou impacto nas mais diversas necessidades globais com doa\u00e7\u00f5es desde sua cria\u00e7\u00e3o num montante que ultrapassa mais de 1 bilh\u00e3o de d\u00f3lares em doa\u00e7\u00f5es, auxiliando nas mais diversas \u00e1reas institucionais no atendimento a cat\u00e1strofes e interven\u00e7\u00e3o na sa\u00fade, desigualdade social, interven\u00e7\u00f5es ambientais &nbsp;e sanit\u00e1rias, contribuindo na capacita\u00e7\u00e3o das comunidades que servem. A cada subs\u00eddio que \u00e9 concedido, tem uma hist\u00f3ria de relev\u00e2ncia que faz crescer junto o impacto que os Le\u00f5es v\u00eam proporcionando em suas comunidades. Desta vez a comunidade agraciada foi a da cidade de Muria\u00e9 e toda zona da mata mineira, atrav\u00e9s da doa\u00e7\u00e3o de equipamentos que v\u00e3o at ender a popula\u00e7\u00e3o menos favorecida que utiliza a Unidade Coronariana da Casa de Caridade Hospital S\u00e3o Paulo \u2013 Muria\u00e9 \u2013 MG \u2013 BRASIL. A partir dessa ajuda, hoje, vimos agradecer e parabenizar com nossos mais efusivos aplausos em gesto de reconhecimento, todos as lideran\u00e7as e associados e associadas dos Lions Clubes de Muria\u00e9, (Centro, Barra e Hellen Keller) por nos deixar mais esperan\u00e7osos e entusiasmados com o futuro do nosso trabalho humanit\u00e1rio.
